The process through which customers can receive a pre-established value, either in the form of a benefit, discount or reward, for a product or service in-store. These methods allow customers to redeem accrued incentives, promotional benefits or other pre-assigned forms of value, thus facilitating transactions that do not require direct payment.



Redeeming Points

The process by which customers use accumulated points to obtain discounts, products, services or rewards. Points are accumulated as customers make purchases and, once a specific amount is reached, can be redeemed for the desired benefit.

  1. Login to the Invu POS application: Access the Invu POS application, to perform the order process.
  2. Search for the customer: Within Invu POS, use the customer search function to locate the customer to whom the code was assigned. 
  3. Load the order: Select the products or services that the customer wishes to purchase (Note: The order of this point and the previous one can be interchanged).
  4. Proceed to payment: After loading all the items in the order, proceed to the payment screen.
  5. Access the Apply Offers section: In the payment screen, the Apply Offers option is selected.
  6. Select the items: Within this section, the option to pay with points is pressed.  
  7. Select the points: Within this section, the option to pay with points is pressed.
  8. Complete the selection: Once the points have been selected, the action is confirmed by pressing the Done button to apply the code to the customer's account.
  9. Applying the points: The system will automatically apply the points as payment for the order. 
  10. Exit the order: To close the order, you can press the Fiscal icon to return to the home screen.

Note: For the payment with points option to be used, the option must be enabled in the dashboard configuration in Clau.io (Click here).

In addition, the option Calculate discount on the Sub-Total must be selected. 


Gift Redemption

This is the process in which customers receive a specific gift offered by the merchant. These gifts can vary from physical products to services, and are given to the customer at no additional cost.

  1. Create the gift: Generate a promotional gift that will be used for the customer. The gift must be configured with the correct conditions. 
  2. Assign the code to the customer: In the Clau.io dashboard, link the newly created gift to the customer's profile to make it available in their account. 
  3. Log in to the Invu POS application: Log in to the Invu POS application, to process the order. 
  4. Find the customer: Within Invu POS, use the customer search function to locate the one to which the code was assigned. 
  5. Load the order: Select the products or services that the customer wishes to purchase (Note: The order of this point and the previous one can be interchanged).
  6. Proceed to payment: After loading all the items in the order, proceed to the payment screen.
  7. Access the Apply Offers section: In the payment screen, select the Apply Offers option.
  8. Select the gift option: In this section, select the option corresponding to the gift.
  9. Complete the selection: Once the gift is selected, confirm the action by pressing the Done button to apply the code to the customer's account.
  10. Gift application: The system will automatically apply the promotion under the name of Loyalty Clau to the specific item to which the gift corresponds. The customer will see the discount reflected in their final invoice. 

Note: It is important to keep in mind that the items to which the promotion was applied should be


Benefit Redemption

This is the process by which customers use benefits, such as discounts, rewards or promotions, when making a purchase at a merchant. These benefits are applied to the total amount at the time the transaction is initiated, reducing the final cost to the customer.

  1. Create the benefit: Configure the benefit you want to offer to customers. 
  2. Access the application: Open the Invu POS application on your device.
  3. Select the item: Choose the purchase item. 
  4. Proceed to payment: Access the Pay Order panel.
  5. Applying the benefit: The benefit created will be applied automatically and in the payment screen you will see it under the name Loyalty Clau. 

Note: It is important to note that the items to which the benefit was applied must be included in the account.


Code Redemption

This is the process by which a customer uses a promotional code to obtain a discount or special offer when making a purchase. This process involves selecting the code in the system during the transaction, automatically applying the promotion associated with the code on the customer's final invoice.

  1. Create the code: Generate a promotional code that will be used for the customer. It is important that the code is configured with the correct conditions. 
  2. Assign the code to the customer: On the Clau.io dashboard, link the newly created code to the customer's profile so that it is available in their account. 
  3. Login to the Invu POS application: Login to the Invu POS application, to process the order.
  4. Search for the customer: Within Invu POS, use the customer search function to locate the customer to whom the code was assigned.
  5. Load the order: Select the products or services that the customer wishes to purchase (Note: The order of this point and the previous one can be interchanged). 
  6. Proceed to payment: After loading all the items in the order, proceed to the payment screen.
  7. Access the Apply Offers section: In the payment screen, select the Apply Offers option.
  8. Select the code option: Within this section, select the option corresponding to the code. 
  9. Complete the selection: Once the code is selected, confirm the action by pressing the Done button to apply the code to the customer's account.
  10. Apply the code: The system will automatically apply the promotion under the name of Loyalty Clau to the specific item to which the code corresponds. The customer will see the discount reflected in their final invoice. 

Note: It is important to note that the items to which the promotion was applied must be included in the account.



Multiple Redemptions

Refers to the process in which a customer redeems multiple benefits, rewards or discounts in a single transaction. This can include the combination of different redemption types, such as loyalty points, coupons and promotional discounts, to maximize the savings or rewards earned on a purchase

  1. Create the promotions: Generate the promotions that will be redeemed by the customer.
  2. Assign the promotions to the customer: In the Clau.io dashboard, the newly created code is linked to the customer's profile so that it is available in their account. 
  3. Login to the Invu POS application: Access the Invu POS application, to perform the order process.
  4. Search for the customer: Within Invu POS, use the customer search function to locate the customer to whom the promotions were assigned (Note: Some of the redemptions are exclusive to customers).
  5. Load the order: Select the products or services that the customer wishes to purchase (Note: The order of this point and the previous one can be interchanged). 
  6. Proceed to payment: After loading all the items in the order, proceed to the payment screen.
  7. Access the Apply Offers section: In the payment screen, select the Apply Offers option. 
  8. Select the promotions: Within this section, select the corresponding options.
  9. Complete the selection: Once the promotions are selected, confirm the action by pressing the Done button to apply the code to the customer's account.
  10. Applying promotions: The system will automatically apply the selected promotions under the name Loyalty Clau on the specific items to which the promotion corresponds. The customer will see the discount reflected on their final invoice. 
  11. Exit order: To close the order, press the Fiscal icon to return to the order screen.

Note: It is important to note that the items to which the promotion was applied must be included in the account.
