It is the system that rewards customer loyalty to the shop. In the context of e-commerce, the term "loyalty" relates to the actions and attitudes of customers that demonstrate their continued commitment to the brand and their willingness to make repeat purchases in the shop rather than looking for alternatives.

Configuring Loyalty Levels

Configuring loyalty levels is the process of establishing and customizing different categories within a customer loyalty program. These levels are designed to reward customers for their loyalty and encourage repeat purchases or continued use of services.

Configuring the loyalty levels in the system is a straightforward process that can be followed step by step.

  1. Access the Settings Tab.
  2. Enter the Loyalty Levels Section.
  3. Configure the Level Details.
    • For each loyalty level, configure the following parameters:
      • Level Name: Assign a name that clearly identifies the level.
      • Level Color: Select a distinctive color for each level, this helps to visualize them easily in the system.
      • Required Points: Define the number of points a customer must accumulate to reach this level.
      • Level Image: Upload a representative image for the level. This could be an icon or graphic that reinforces the category of the level. (Note: To visualize the image, it must be updated beforehand).
      • Required Purchase Amount: Specify the total amount of money a customer must spend on purchases to reach this level.
      • Press Update: Once all the details have been verified, press the 'Update' button to save the changes made. (Note: Levels that are not needed can be deactivated to simplify management).

Types of promotion

These are the various strategies and tactics that companies use to promote their products or services.

  • Regular: This type of promotion is assigned directly to the customer without the need for them to do anything special. It can be an automatic discount applied to your account or your purchase.
  • Promotional Code: This is a unique code that the customer must enter during the purchase process to receive a discount or benefit. This code can only be used once per customer.
  • Punch Cards: Also known as punch cards, this type of promotion is redeemed digitally. The customer receives a virtual card, and each time they make a purchase, a space on the card is marked. After a certain number of punches, the customer receives a reward.
  • Scratch-off: This type of promotion uses a card that has a code hidden under a layer that must be scratched off. The customer scratches the card to reveal the code and enters it on the website or in the store to redeem their benefit.
  • External Gifts: In these promotions, additional items are offered as gifts that are not directly related to the main purchase. For example, buying an appliance and receiving a free recipe book.
  • Benefits: These promotions do not require any specific action from the customer. They are pre-set with certain criteria, and when the customer enters the e-commerce site and meets those criteria (for example, being a returning customer or purchasing during a special offer), they automatically receive the benefits.
