These refer to the reports generated to manage sales transactions. These help the business make informed decisions about inventory movement, personnel, sales, among others, and thus improve overall operational efficiency.
Long Report
A detailed report that includes all transaction information for the selected period, including sales, payments, open orders, and other relevant data. It provides a complete and comprehensive view of all activities.
Note: Once the long report is sent to print, the system asks a series of questions to simplify the process.
- Do you have unbilled orders? Do you want to print the long report anyway?: The system gives the option to print the complete detailed report, excluding the unbilled orders and only the invoiced ones. Note: This can be limited with iPad Roles permissions.
- Do you want to do shift closing?: The system allows you to choose if you want to do shift closing, which includes all transactions and updates the financial records for the day.
- By choosing the option of "YES" the system performs a cash cut-off and leaves sales at 0.
- If you select the "NO" option, you will be able to print the report as many times as you wish, without closing the sales.
- All Cash Registers or Current Cash Register: The system allows you to choose between generating reports for all cash registers or only the current cash register.
- Print by pre-count or Print by Network Printer: The system allows you to choose between printing the long report by pre-count, which is a preliminary report before the final closing, or printing using the network printer, which sends the report directly to a networked printer.
Short report
This is a more summarized report that presents only the key and essential data, such as total sales and payments, without going into extensive detail on each transaction. It is useful for getting a quick overview of performance without extensive detail.
Note: Once the short report is sent to print, the system asks you how you want to print it.
- Print by Pre-Account or Print by Network Printer: The system allows you to choose between printing the long report by pre-account, which is a preliminary report before the final closing, or printing using the network printer, which sends the report directly to a networked printer (Note: With this option the report is printed in Legal or Letter format).
Close of Day Report
This is the report generated at the end of the day's operations that summarizes all the financial activity of the business during that period.
- Print Summary of the Day: Allows you to physically record the summary of sales, payments, the amount paid in cash, debit, credit, check or other forms of payment; the types of orders used during the shift, tips paid, credit memos, subcategories used during the day, fiscal anomalies, cash movements, cash registers used during the shift and the cash in them.
- Close Paid Orders: Displays the number of open and paid orders, also allows closing paid orders that are open in the system.
- Unbilled Orders: Displays the number of orders that have been issued and not printed, also allows retrying printing.
Employee Registration
Records the number of employees that have checked in and out during that day, also allows checking out all employees.
- Uncounted Cash: Master the number of cash drawers that have uncounted cash.
- Make Deposit: Provides access to register the bank deposit from the report.
- Close Shift: Provides access to make the closing of the shift in case it has not been done yet.
- Employee Shift Report: This is the printout of the report that shows the sales and activities performed by the employee during their work shift, including transactions, income and any relevant adjustments or activities.
