Functions within the Order

The screen for order creation in Invu POS optimizes the process to enhance the customer experience and increase business productivity. With intuitive functions, it streamlines order management, ensuring efficiency without complications. An essential component for driving smooth operations and effectively meeting customer needs.




Exit

If it's necessary to exit the order before it's canceled by the diner or customers, press this box to return to the main screen.


Split

This command is used to split the order into as many customers as required (See Split and Merge Orders section).


Split by Diners

This command is used so that each diner at the table has their own order (See Split and Merge Orders section).


Invoice Preview

Here you can view all the information that will appear on the invoice and also edit the items with other commands.

  • Name the Order: Place the customer's name on the bill (See Customers section). 
  • Items List: This section lists all the items the customer has requested. 
  • Item Actions: From this section, items can be modified.  
    1. Add Discount: Adds a price reduction to the selected item.
    2. Edit Quantity: Modifies the quantity of items in the order.
    3. Select Employee: Reassign an employee to that order.
    4. Select Commission: Works to assign sales commissions, if these are activated in the administrative panel.
    5. Move Item: Change an item in the order.  
    6. Add Description: Add any details the customer wishes to modify about the item.
    7. Delete: Removes the item from the order (In the list, the item appears in blue with a line over the text).
    8. Reduce: This option is for discarding items from inventory.
    9. Reduce Group: This discards a group of items from inventory.
    10. Cancel: Closes this window and returns to the order functions.
  • Optional Modifiers: If an optional modifier has been created for the item, it can be accessed by holding down the item for a few seconds. Note: It's important to remember that if items with optional modifiers are simply pressed, only the list of item actions will be obtained. To get the modifiers, it must be pressed until the required options appear (hold for a few seconds).


Barcode Scanner

Used to add items to the order from the barcode.


Facilitates the search for a product in the system by scanning its barcode.


Number of Guests

With this command, we can add the number of guests at the table.


Timings

This is the order in which dishes are served to diners.



Pay Order

From here, we move to the Payment Panel (See Payment Panel).


Used to search for items by name.


Subcategory Item

This section shows the items within the subcategories.


Categories

Here, the list of categories created for the business is displayed (The selected category is shown in green).


Subcategories

Here, the list of subcategories is displayed; when selecting a category, the subcategories within it are automatically displayed here, and the first one is selected in green, showing the corresponding images in the Item by Category section.


Order Menu

Within the order, there is also a menu accessed from our icon.

  1. Print Quotation: Prints an order as a quotation.
  2. Order Date: If the order is for a near delivery, the date it should be delivered can be selected here.
  3. Change Tip Employee: With this function, the tip is assigned to another employee. They can only be viewed in the reports.
  4. Change Order Type: Modify the order from normal to takeout or any of the other types of orders.
  5. Delivery Map: Area where home deliveries are made.
  6. Customer Info: From here, you can view customer information.
  7. Print Pre-Bill: Works to have the pre-bill in printed format.
  8. Change Table: With this section, the customer can be moved to another table.
  9. Merge to Another Account: This is another way to merge accounts.
  10. Change Waiter: From here, the waiter currently attending can be replaced.
  11. Exit: Pressing this command exits the menu and returns to the order.
