Functions in the Order

The Invu POS order creation screen streamlines the process to improve customer experience and increase business productivity. With intuitive features, it streamlines order management, ensuring efficiency without hassle. An essential component to drive smooth operations and effectively meet customer needs.




Order Menu 

Within the order, there is also a menu that can be accessed from our icon.


  • Delivery Date: Here, the date and time of delivery is reset.  
  • Change Employee Tip: This function is used to assign the tip to another employee. It can only be displayed in the reports.
  • Change Order Type: Modify the order from a regular to take-out or any of the other order types.
  • Customer Information: From here you can view the customer information.
  • Print Pre Account: It works to have the Pre Account in printed format.
  • Change Table: With this section, you can move the customer to another table.
  • Change Waiter: From here you can replace the waiter that is serving.
  • Join to another account: This is another way to reunite accounts.
  • Exit: Pressing this command exits the menu and returns to the order.


Split Account

This command is to divide the order in as many customers as required.


Action: Split by Customers

This command is for each customer at the table to have their own order.


Order Preview

Here you can view all the information that will appear on the invoice, and you can also edit the items with other commands


  • Name the order: Place the name of the customer on the account.   
  • List of Items: This section lists all the items that the customer has ordered.  
  • Item Options: From this section, you can modify the items.  
    • Add Discount: Adds a price reduction to the selected item.
    • Edit Quantity: Modify the quantity of items in the order.
    • Select Employee: Reassign an employee to that order.
    • Select Commission: Works to assign sales commissions, if these are activated in the administrative panel. 
    • Move item: Change an order item. 
    • Add Description: Add any detail that the customer wants to modify the item.
    • Remove: Remove the item from the order (Note: In the list, the item appears in red and with a line over the text).  
    • Discard: This option is to discard items from the inventory.
    • Group Discard: This option is used to discard a group of items from the inventory.
  • Optional Modifiers: If an optional modifier has been created for the item, it can be accessed by holding down the item for a few seconds (Note: The item must be held down for a few seconds).  


Approximate value

This field records the estimated total amount to be paid, without calculating tips, general discounts or promotions.


Times

This is the order in which the dishes can be served to the guests.


Number of Guests

With this command, we can add the number of guests at the table. 


Pay Order

From here we go to the Payment Panel.


Action: Print Pre bill

This command is for the pre bill note to be physically reproduced by the different printers.


Item Finder

Used to search for items by name.


Exit

If it is necessary to exit the order before it is cancelled by the guest or customers, press this box and return to the main screen. 


Categories

Here are shown the list of categories that are created for the business (The selected category is shown in blue).


Subcategories

The list of subcategories is shown here; when selecting a category, the subcategories within it are automatically shown in this part and the first one is selected in green, showing in the Items by category part the images corresponding to these. 


Subcategory Item

This section shows the items within the subcategories (those that are for sale).


Integrations 

This section is only activated for orders with integrations or by digital commerce, to make modifications in the status, review the delivery map or print the quotation. 


This option allows you to generate and print a quote for a customer before the purchase is made. 


Delivery Map

Allows you to view the delivery addresses of orders on a map, linked to Google Maps. 


Clau.io

Allows you to modify the current status of an order, so that the customer is informed of where the order is in the process (Note: This field will only be enabled when the order is placed through the Clau.io integration platform).
