The home screen of our platform is designed to provide quick and easy access to information. With an organized design and intuitive buttons, you will be able to navigate efficiently. At Invu POS, we seek to simplify the experience, providing the necessary tools to manage transactions effectively.
Primary Menu
The Primary Menu integrates options and buttons, which facilitate access to key functions and sections. This set of tools is essential for efficient management, providing an intuitive interface that streamlines daily operations. From essential functions to specific sections, this menu centralizes essential tools for a seamless user experience. With its accessible design, Invu POS streamlines navigation and improves efficiency, allowing users to focus on effectively managing business operations.
Note: To access this menu, the Invu POS icon must be tapped.
Cash Actions
This section is designed to provide detailed guidance on the functions and features of the Cash Actions.
- Enter Cash to Till: Allows you to add cash to the till to register the start of day fund or shift change.
- Withdraw Cash to Cash Desk: Allows you to withdraw cash from the sales accumulated in the cash desk. It is useful for shift changes or shift closings.
- Open Cash Desk: Allows to open the cash desk to enter and withdraw cash from the cash desk at the beginning or end of the day's sales.
- Open Drawer: Allows to physically open the cash drawer of the cash register that is connected to the printer.
- Bank Deposit: Used to record the details of the bank deposit, such as the amount and the destination bank account.
Select Cash Register
This is the action of choosing a specific cash register to work with during a session.
System Reports
This section provides detailed reports on sales, income and other important data.
- Long Report: Prints a detailed report of transactions made during a specific period of time.
- Short Report: Prints a summary report of the transactions made during a specific period of time.
- Close of Day Report: This is the report generated at the end of the day that summarizes all transactions and activities performed during that period.
- Employee Shift Report: This report details the activities and performance of an employee during their work shift.
Change Sequential
Used to adjust or modify the sequence number of invoices, receipts or documents issued by the system.
Deleted Orders
This section shows all the orders deleted during a set period. These can be viewed from the Administrative Panel.
Configuration
Specific and functional commands for configuring the system are presented here. They can be edited in the Administrative Panel.
- Enable Signature on Pre-account: This option allows customers to sign the pre-account before paying.
- Disable Card Number: This refers to the option of not entering the credit or debit card number in the system to process the payment.
Employee Logout
This is used to log out an employee from the system.
Secondary Menu
It is displayed as a drop-down list and provides additional advanced options that are not shown in the main menu.
Note: To access this menu, the Invu POS icon must be held down until this menu is displayed.
Update Data
This is to update the administrative panel information in the Invu POS application. This command allows you to synchronize the records stored in the system with the application.
Synchronize E-commerce Orders
This process allows you to keep the information about the orders placed in the online store updated with the inventory management and shipping system.
Update Customers
To register the changes made in the administrative panel on the customer information and display them in the Invu POS application.
Troubleshoot
This section functions as a quick support, as it shows the connections that are active in the Invu POS application.
Change Language
Allows the translation of the system to English, Chinese and Spanish.
Logout
This option is for logging out of the Invu POS application.
Top Left Strip
This section of the ribbon provides quick access to some of the functions and system status, making it easier to manage day-to-day operations in the store.
Dial Clock
This is a useful tool for attendance recording and employee time management. It provides an accurate and automated way of clocking in and out, reduces errors, and facilitates attendance monitoring and control. By eliminating the need for manual recording, productivity is increased. In addition, recorded data can be analyzed to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. It helps comply with laws and regulations and facilitates communication and management of attendance and time and attendance policies.
Customer Builder / Finder
Aims to help you manage your customers more efficiently. This tool allows you to create customer profiles and store useful information about them.
Order Finder
Allows you to search for specific orders in the transaction history.
Left Panel
This section contains navigation options and tools necessary to perform different operations within the point of sale.
New Order
Opens the order automatically without customer information.
Other types
- To Go: Open order to go.
- To Pick Up: Open order to pick up.
- Home: Open order for home delivery.
- Normal Order: Open normal order.
Note: From the Administrative Panel, you can deactivate or create as many order types as necessary.
Open
Allows you to easily view the open orders in the system.
Closed
You can access and review the record of completed orders in a clear and concise manner.
Clau.io
Clau.io is the Invu POS system, which offers a cloud-based point-of-sale platform with an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface (Note: This section will only be present if you have this service).
Others
In this section, orders coming from integrations with platforms other than Clau.io will be registered (Note: This function is only active in the box used for these orders).
Upper Right Band
This section contains tools for the administration and operation of the point of sale. This strip includes quick access to functions and system status, facilitating the daily management of activities at the point of sale.
Cloud connection
This icon shows whether information is being saved in the cloud. If it has a diagonal stripe over the cloud, there is no internet connection.
Exit
With this button, the employee closes or opens his cash register, without logging out.
Code Scanner
With this button, we can search or scan the gift cards that are active, as well as the products that have a barcode.
Right Panel
This section contains essential tools and shortcuts for the administration and efficient operation of the point of sale.
Active Cashier Information
This section shows the name of the person at the cash register, followed by the cash register number, and culminates with the amount of cash inside.
Table Plan
This section allows you to visualize the layout of the tables, create orders from them while you are serving, and clearly see the number of diners at each table.
Sales of the Day
It gives us an overview of the sales that have been made during the day.
