It is the process of registering a customer's data within the system to facilitate the management of their transactions, orders, and preferences. This functionality is useful for establishments that wish to keep a more detailed control of their customer base and offer a personalized service.

Segment | Description |

Taxpayer Type | Indicates the customer's tax regime, such as: Natural and legal person. |
Identification Number | The unique number assigned to the customer by the government or tax authority, such as identity card or RUC. |
(DV) Verification Digit | Additional number that validates the authenticity of the identification number (necessary in case of using RUC number). |
Names | Field to register the customer's names. |
Surname | Field to record the customer's last name. |
E-mail address | This is the customer's e-mail address for contact, sending electronic invoices or promotions. |
Phone | Spaces to register up to three telephone numbers of the customer. |
Address | The customer's physical address. Useful for billing, shipping or direct contact. |
Date of Birth | The customer's date of birth, used to personalize promotions or identify customers of legal age. |
Social Networking | Section to link the customer's social network accounts. The system includes: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram. |
Group | Customer classification. |
Loyalty ID | Unique customer number or code in a loyalty program, used to accumulate and redeem points. |
Credit Limit | The maximum amount of credit allowed for the customer, if the system supports credit sales. |
Unlimited Credit? | Option to indicate if the customer has access to unrestricted credit. This is usually a checkbox type field. |
