Personal Account

This procedure is carried out when we want to grant credit to a customer for their personal account. It is important to note that the granting of credit is subject to certain conditions, such as the approval of a credit application by the business.

We can grant credit to a customer in two ways, from the iPad when creating our customer.

In Invu POS, click the + sign at the top to create a new customer.

  • First Name.
  • Last Name.
  • Type of customer: Natural or Legal, ID for natural persons, RUC for legal entities.
  • Email.
  • Credit limit, which we set from this screen.
  • Once the customer is created with their credit limit, they are registered with a maximum assigned amount.

From the Administrative Panel

  • Go to Customer > Create Customer > Add the customer's personal details > Credit limit.
  • When generating the order, assign the name of the customer to whom you want to charge the debt.
  • Pay from the payment method, select Others, Personal Account, Complete, and it will deduct from their personal account balance.
  • The customer must not exceed their credit limit to allow the payment to be applied.
  • Subsequently, from the admin panel, create a subcategory called Personal Account or Deposit, as preferred, and an item called Deposit within the same category (the item type must be Deposit).
  • The customer makes a payment to his personal account.
  • An order is created, the credit item is placed, the customer's name is assigned to the order, then pay, the amount and method of payment are applied.
  • Executing this step will decrease the customer's debt and increase their available credit amount.
