Invu API - developer documentation and who to contact about integrations

Applies to the Invu API, used to connect your business with other systems.

Most important:

• All the API documentation is at https://developer.invupos.com. It is public and you don't need to sign in.
• For any help with the API (access, keys, permissions, costs, errors or questions about an integration), write to integraciones@invupos.com.

1. What the Invu API is

The API lets another system read information from your Invu account or send information to it. Typical uses:

• send the day's sales to your accounting system;
• keep the menu and prices up to date on your website or a delivery platform;
• load purchases or inventory from another system.

2. Where the documentation is

At https://developer.invupos.com you'll find the full API reference: each endpoint, its parameters, request and response examples, and how to authenticate.

Give that link to the person or company building your integration. It is the starting point.

3. Help with the API: integraciones@invupos.com

Write to integraciones@invupos.com about anything related to the API, for example:

• requesting API access or keys for your business or your developer;
• finding out whether what you want to integrate can be done and how, for example sending orders from your website to the POS;
• turning on additional features or permissions, and asking about costs;
• an error you don't understand when calling the API.

In your email include:

• the business and branch name;
• what you want to integrate and with which system;
• for an error: the endpoint you called, the date and time, and the error code it returned (for example 401, 403 or 429).

For security, never send a full API key by email or chat.
